Sharing hospitality knowledge — close cooperation between Munich University of Applied Sciences and Zarges von Freyberg Hotel Consulting shareholders
In addition to their consulting work, the two shareholders of Zarges von Freyberg Hotel Consulting pass on their many years of experience in the hospitality sector to students as lecturers at the Faculty of Tourism at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
Prof. Dr. Burkhard von Freyberg has been a professor of hospitality management at the university since 2009. Since March of this year, Stephanie Zarges-Vogel has also been working on a teaching assignment. She leads the master course “Strategic Hospitality Management”, which is intended to familiarise students with industry-specific strategy approaches. They should also learn the process of analyzing a hospitality business up to the final implementation of a strategy.
Thanks to the extensive industry know-how and network of the two managing directors of Zarges from Freyberg Hotel Consulting, students are provided with practical knowledge — based on various case studies and lectures by well-known personalities in the industry. Experts were invited to the lecture to illustrate various forms of hotel management, including Christoph Hoffmann, founder of 25hours Hotels, and Thilo Mühl, director of Hotel Gut Immenhof.
